John Palmer is the international best-selling author of How to Brew, the co-author of Brewing Classic Styles, and Water – A Comprehensive Guide for Brewers, and co-host of the popular brewing podcast, Brew Strong. John is a metallurgical engineer by training and spent 25 years in aerospace and medical device technology before deciding he got more satisfaction from engineering the brewing processes. He is the Editor-in-Chief for the Master Brewers Association (MBAA) and is an invited speaker and beer judge at brewing conferences and competitions all over the world.
