8th Annual Brews on the Bay!!!

The San Francisco Brewers Guild hosts its 8th Annual Brews on the Bay festival on Saturday, September 10th, 2011, on the S.S. Jeremiah O’Brien, (one of the last remaining Liberty Ships) at Pier 45 on the San Francisco Bay. The festival is a fundraiser for the National Liberty Ship Memorial.
More than fifty beers will be poured, all brewed in San Francisco, including special releases. 
The festival runs from noon to 5 PM. Ticket price for this one-day-only event is $45; tickets are available by advance online sales only through www.sfbrewersguild.org.
The San Francisco Brewers Guild is comprised of San Francisco’s eight breweries: 21st Amendment Brewery, Anchor Brewing Company, Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Magnolia Pub & Brewery, Social Kitchen & Brewery, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, and ThirstyBear Brewing Company.

San Francisco Beer Week will showcase the amazing flavors, fun, and culture of Northern California beer. The San Francisco Brewers Guild Opening Gala Event will kick off the week at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on Friday, February 11th. Over 35 breweries and their brew-masters will be there, pouring their rarest and wildest beers.
