Rubicon Brewing Company is holding a Sacramento Beer Week event featuring Sierra Nevada and Rubicon beer with local and regional foods. The multi-dimensional theme will be Farm to Fork, Green practices of the Craft Beer business, and support for the CCBA.
This event will be held at Rubicon Brewing Co. on February 23rd.

The Celebrator Beer News will celebrate its 24th anniversary on February 19, 2012, with a Brewer’s party from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Trumer Brauerei in Berkeley, California.
All proceeds go to the California Craft Beer Association. 30+ breweries will pour favorite brews. Meet beer industry luminaries.
This party is the Grand Finale for SF Beer Week.

Collaboration is a Good Thing

Former collaborators, turned rivals, turned collaborators again to produce Allies Win the War, a collaboration beer by Shaun O’Sullivan and Nico Freccia of 21st Amendment Brewery in San Francisco and Jamie Floyd of Ninkasi Brewing Co in Eugene, Oregon.
The name, O’Sullivan elaborates, is “a play on the idea of rivals coming together for the greater good of the world.”
