ANAHEIM BREWERY GRAND OPENING ~ SATURDAY, JULY 16TH!

Anaheim Brewery
will host its grand opening day celebration on Saturday, July 16 from 12 to 6 pm.  Anaheim Beer, famous before Prohibition and a part of the German lifestyle in the early days of Anaheim, has returned after ninety years.  Tom Tait, the mayor of Anaheim, will attend to mark the occasion. You may run into Lecil Slaback, 96 year old Anaheimer who remembers the old Anaheim Beer slogan: One for a nickel, Two for a dime, Get your beer in Anaheim!

Festivities include:
* Street food from neighborhood restaurants
* Mayor Tom Tait taps the ceremonial keg at 12:30
* Cake cutting at 3:30pm
* Hourly brewery tours

Using brewing techniques mastered over 17 years, owners Barbara and Greg Gerovac will introduce four award winning beers: Anaheim 1888, Anaheim Gold, Anaheim Red and Anaheim Hefeweizen. Fresh beer is once again flowing in downtown Anaheim, just as it did in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
The Anaheim Brewery Tasting Room will be open from 11 am to 9 pm on Saturday.
