Inaugural 2017 California Craft Brewing Industry Compensation Study Available to CCBA Members on October 11th

The California Craft Brewers Association, in partnership with FutureSense, LLC, is excited to announce the release of its inaugural California Craft Brewing Industry Compensation Study – available to all CCBA members starting on 10/11/17.

The 2017 CA Craft Brewing Industry Compensation Study provides information in a confidential, anonymous, and secure manner, including local market data on 46 industry jobs from 50 participating California craft breweries.  The study also provides information on HR & Brewery Metrics and Sales & Incentive Compensation.

This study is and will continue to be a critical resource for breweries to rely on in an era of increased industry growth, competition for valuable employees and a growing need for employee retention programs.

As minimum wage and breweries continue to grow and consolidate, the need to attract, retain, and motivate your employees through your business strategies increases as well.  This study, developed in partnership with FutureSense, LLC, a management consulting firm, will give your brewery the information it needs to ensure that your talent performs at its highest and greatest ability.

The CCBA sincerely appreciates the support from this year’s participants – without you the study could not have been completed!

After you have reviewed the results, we encourage you to take a quick feedback questionnaire that will be sent out in tandem with the study to better understand how you perceive the value of this study. Please respond back to the feedback questionnaire by 10/23/17*.

If you have any questions regarding the results of the 2017 Study or how to participate next year, please contact Jack Thomas at or at 888.336.0909 ext. 116.

*Please note, participants who have completed the feedback questionnaire in September need not repeat.
