Fifth Annual California Craft Beer Summit On-the-Road in 2019

Signature Gathering for the Golden State’s Craft Brewing Industry Announces Tour to Long Beach for Next Year’s Event

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (September 11, 2018)  —  At the fourth annual California Craft Beer Summit, the California Craft Brewers Association (CCBA) announced the premier event for the West Coast brewing industry is taking the show to Long Beach in 2019.

“This is a milestone for the CCBA and the California Craft Beer Summit,” said Chris Cramer, CEO & Co-Founder of Karl Strauss Brewing Co. and president of the California Craft Brewers Association Board of Directors. “Going into our fifth year of the event, we want to showcase to the entire state who and what we represent. California has defined craft beer over the years and ours is an iconic industry for the Golden State. Taking the Summit on tour is the best way to share the good news of craft beer throughout California.”

The 2019 California Craft Beer Summit is scheduled for the Long Beach Convention Center and Marina Green Park on September 12-14, 2019. The event will encompass additional hours of educational seminars, a larger and more experience based expo hall and an outdoor, bay view festival to bring in beer lovers from the vast Los Angeles region.

The CCBA represents the entire craft beer industry across the state of California and will celebrate its 30th anniversary at the 2019 California Craft Beer Summit. All proceeds from the event support the CCBA’s efforts to continue to advance the business of craft beer in the state of California.

For our anniversary event, we want to showcase the culture and community of craft beer across the state of California,” said Tom McCormick, executive director of the CCBA. “We’re taking the craft beer culture we’ve built over the last 30 years of the CCBA and bringing that culture on tour across the Golden State. What’s more iconic then a road trip to a brewery? How about a road trip to three days of beer education and tastings from 170 breweries?”
