Who Should Attend?

We mean it when we say there is something here for everyone in the craft beer community. More than 6,000 people  will travel to Long Beach from across and outside California including brewery owners and staff, distributors, retailers, vendors, homebrewers and committed craft beer lovers.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This is a 21 and over event. You must be 21+ years old with a valid photo ID to attend, no exceptions. No children, infants, toddlers, or strollers will be allowed into the event. NO EXCEPTIONS.

What are the hours of the event?

Where are the entrances?

For all events at the Long Beach Convention Center, registration will be located at first floor foyer.
For the Summit Beer Festival- Main Entrance gates are located on Shoreline Village Dr. (Right off of E. Shoreline Dr.)

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking Information near the Long Beach Convention Center can be found here. 

For the Summit Beer Festival please view the parking map of garages near Marina Green Park.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You must have a printed copy of your ticket or your ticket barcode (easily viewable) on your smartphone.

I’m from out of town, where should I stay?

Hotel room blocks can be viewed here.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:


  • Outside alcohol
  • Bottles
  • Cans
  • Outside food/beverages [Unopened and sealed water bottles, or empty refillable container are OK] 
  • Weapons (i.e. knives, pepper spray, stun-guns, any concealed weapons, firearms, etc.)
  • Illegal drugs
  • Chemicals
  • Fireworks, smoke bombs, etc.
  • Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
  • Other items as determined by facility management

Event management reserves the right to handle each occurrence on a case by case basis. Depending on the item, the guest may either be asked to remove the item from the facility or dispose of the item, or may be ejected from the facility.

California Craft Brewers Association launched it’s new and revised mobile application for the 2019 California Craft Beer Summit. Download today from the Google Play and Apple Stores. Thanks to The Country Malt Group for bringing this app to all Summit attendees!

What is the refund policy?

No refunds, or exchanges.

Intoxicated Guests

All guests of the California Craft Beer Summit and Beer Festival are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe, responsible means of transportation before leaving the event.

Any guest who is intoxicated before entering the event may be denied entry to the event.

Any guest found intoxicated within the event and/or causing a disturbance, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the facility without refund and may be subject to further consequences.
